THRESHOLD

For their 20th Anniversary year, Fuse Ensemble presents THRESHOLD for 2027. Through modern, electroacoustic chamber music and dynamic visual art digitally integrated into the stage with the musicians, the group collectively explores the idea of the threshold as the razor-sharp line of the "now" between the past and the future; the blurring border between humans and technology; the powerful, brief pause before a huge action is taken; the tipping point before a fall into chaos; the doorway into another world, and more.
